Scotch Gill Woods Local Nature Reserve

 

Scotch Gill Woods Local Nature Reserve is an ancient semi-natural woodland on the north bank of the River Wansbeck at the edge of Morpeth.

There are footpaths throughout the woodland and you can follow a circular route from the car park near Morpeth Rugby Club.

Travel Directions
By car - follow the B6343 (signposted Mitford, Cambo) from Morpeth, past the entrance for Morpeth Rugby Club. Before you cross the single lane bridge the car park is straight ahead.

Accessibility
Assitance dogs are welcome. There are narrow woodland paths in places, steep hills and steps in Scotch Gill Woods.
