Ha' Hill
Ha' Hill is a motte and bailey, built in the 11th century. It is one of only 16 remaining in Northumberland.
Morpeth Castle
Built in the 12th Century, only the gatehouse and a small section of curtain wall remain.
William Turner
Born in Morpeth in 1508, William Turner is now known as The Father of English Botany. He did more for the understanding of plants in this country than anyone before him.
Carlisle Park in the 1900s
The formal opening of the park and many improvements took place in the early 1900s.
The Modern Park
Today the park is an extremely popular place for visitors and residents alike.
