The Friends of Carlisle Park
We are an enthusiastic, friendly group of volunteers who want to help improve Carlisle Park and the other local nature reserves around Morpeth. We are interested in the natural history, heritage and future improvement of all of the sites we help to manage.
The sites we look after are:
We have a committee who meet every two months and who organise events, walks and talks, apply for grants to help fund activities and improvements, and publish leaflets and booklets to promote our sites. Our members often help out with practical conservation tasks and at events.
